am always in search of products that help to control excess sebum and prevent breakouts who are the uninvited guest at every occasion. When I came to know about Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash, it seemed to be a thumbs up for me as it had all that I will prefer in any face wash.
Needless to say, I am a Plumster!! I have been trying a lot of Plum products since last few months. Being an oily and acne prone skin type, I am always in search of products that help to control excess sebum and prevent breakouts who are the uninvited guest at every occasion. When I came to know about Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash, it seemed to be a thumbs up for me as it had all that I will prefer in any face wash.
Gentle on skin plus mild exfoliation & free from SLS and Parabens, this seemed to be a perfect combo. Earlier, I had been using khadi neem and tulsi face wash and this time it was Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash. It is my second time that I purchased this face wash. This time I purchased all the products from the Green Tea range. Let’s see how this face wash worked for me and see if you find it a better option to try this time.
Four ways to a clearer face. One face wash.
You will love the gently foaming, refreshing experience of this face wash, coupled with mild exfoliation and an unbeatable green tea fragrance that leaves you feeling refreshed and energized.
Wet your face and take less than a coin sized amount of face wash. Gently massage in circular motions to form lather. Rinse off with normal water and pat dry your face.
The product says that if you are not used to exfoliation then you might feel your skin a bit stretchy but it is normal. Use a light moisturizer and you are good to go.
Use once or twice a day to get clean and clear skin.
Aqua (Water), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Carbomer, Cellulose Beads, Cocamide DEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ethylhexylglycerin, FDA Approved Colours, Fragrance, Glycerin, Glycolic acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Laureth Sulphate
Comes in recyclable plastic tube packaging with a flap top cap which is too tight to open. I don’t know how people without nails open it. Regardless of this, the product has a simple travel friendly packaging. The product doesn’t spill off the tube during travelling. This Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash is quite safe to carry anywhere.
Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash has a gel like consistency with cellulose beads in it that helps in gentle exfoliation.
Fragrance of Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash is refreshing and soothing that lingers for a few minutes after the face wash. It smells like all other products of the green tea range by plum.

The face wash worked quite effectively for me. If I have to tell you about its pros there are many.
Its gentle formula never dries out my skin. The face wash forms soft lather that doesn’t feel sticky. Cellulose beads in it completely serve the purpose and make the cleansing action more satisfying. The face wash effectively pulls out dust, dirt and excess oil from the skin and leaves the skin fresh and clear.
After the first usage, I noticed that my face looked more clear and brighter after the wash.
The cellulose beads in it aren’t harsh like physical exfoliators. The beads in it deep cleanses the skin by unclogging pores.
What to talk about its fragrance. It is just amazing. It just refreshes and energises the mood. I generally use this face wash twice a day and it always leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. This is one of the fab points that I would like to highlight about it.
Face wash for oily skin doesn’t need to be harsh or more like surfactant based. They should not pull out the natural moisture of the skin. I have tried many face washes in this price range but they always leave my face a bit stretchy which I don’t feel is a good thing.
The face wash contains an active ingredient that is glycolic acid which is great for oily and acne-prone skin. The glycolic acid is considered as one of the chemical exfoliators that helps to remove dead skin cells and prevents breakouts which I believe has been done by this face wash.
Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash is one of the best face washes for oily and acne prone skin. It works great for my oily and acne-prone skin. But I won’t recommend it for very dry and extremely Sensitive skin. Hope you would find this review helpful.
